It was one hell of alot of work, but the fundraiser was a success and we made approximately $5,500.00. We had a full house with a little over 150 people and ended up with 184 items in the silent auction. A few items that were interesting and started bidding wars were: a 12 hour ride along with a city detective, Team Canada Rugby Jersey, dinner for four at a nice restaurant, a 20 week session from Creative Memories, and a couple of spa gift certificates... just to mention a few. I have a few bid sheets to follow up on today for people who won, but had left, and then after returning some liquor that was unopened, I have to do a final accounting. At the next meeting, I'll ask for a volunteer to take on the next one and hand everything over. I wonder how many people will volunteer? Since I haven't been on since earlier in the week, did I miss anything around here? Current Mood:  tired
